Nextage recently released its first in-app purchase enabled application. Esame ok is an application that helps students cope with exam stress (english localizaton will be available soon).

The psychological part, that may be strictly subjective, is released for free. However, some useful tools (manage my career, things to remember) are available inside the applicaion only after in-app purchase.

Free contents remain free!

This way, users are free to get the application for free and decide, based on the overall quality of the free part to buy additional features. The applications actually allows for full features in its free portion. No “should be already there” functions.

Buyable functions are real add-ons users may decide or decide not to have upone their real needs. We think in fact that having all the “school” apps inside an unique product is a winning strategies, and this will allow us to release soon new cross-app features.
